Baiyoke Tower II, on Ratchaprarop Road in Pratunam, houses the Baiyoke Sky Hotel. At 304 metres (328 with the antenna) and 85 floors, it was completed in 1997 and remained Thailand's tallest skyscraper until 2016. It has an observation deck on the 77th floor, a rooftop bar on the 83rd and, on the 84th, an open-air revolving viewing platform. The observation-deck ticket gives access to these floors and includes a drink; the hotel states it is open every day from 10:00 to 22:00.
Highlights

The tower
Seen from below, the tower's narrow, golden facade can be spotted from far across the Pratunam district. It holds hotel rooms and restaurants, including a buffet high above the city.

The 77th floor
Largely glazed, the deck offers a 360° view over Bangkok: the Siam skyscrapers, the railway tracks of Phaya Thai station, the Saen Saep canal and, on a clear day, the river. This is where you take photos out of the wind.
The 84th floor, the revolving platform
You come up here to turn slowly on the spot in the open air, with an unobstructed view of the city; the platform is protected by a safety fence. The wind can be noticeable, and access may be limited during storms.
Sunset
Arrive about an hour before sunset to watch the city go from daylight to night lights.

Tips
The price noted from ticket resellers in October 2026 is about 450 baht per adult, including a drink at the 83rd-floor bar; check the price and conditions on the hotel's official website (baiyokeskyhotel.com). Children under 80 cm get in free, and children from 80 to 120 cm pay a reduced rate. Smart casual dress is recommended. For same-day booking, the hotel asks you to contact it directly; booking ahead is advised in high season. If you prefer another viewpoint, the Mahanakhon SkyWalk is higher but more expensive; see our page for the comparison.
