EmQuartier and EmSphere: shopping in Phrom Phong

Updated on October 9, 2026

EmQuartier and EmSphere are two neighbouring shopping malls in Phrom Phong, on Sukhumvit Road, which together with Emporium form the "EM District". They are linked to Phrom Phong BTS station and open every day from 10 am to 10 pm; entry is free. EmQuartier is the older one, with planted atriums and a garden terrace; EmSphere, newer, focuses on food and elaborate décor. Allow 2 to 3 hours for both, with a meal. Highlights

The EmQuartier atriums

The galleries open onto a large central void planted with greenery, seen here from an upper floor: luxury boutiques on one side, walkways and hanging gardens on the other. The mall mixes international brands, Thai labels, restaurants and a gourmet supermarket.

The Sky Garden and Benchasiri Park

From EmQuartier's planted terrace, the view looks over neighbouring Benchasiri Park, a green space in the middle of Phrom Phong. It is a quieter break than the galleries.

The mall stands out for colourful installations beneath large timber structures and carefully designed dining spaces. According to published information, restaurants and cafés generally open earlier and close later than the shops.

Tips

Entry to both malls is free. They can be reached on foot from Phrom Phong, often by covered walkways. These malls sometimes extend their hours at the end of the year: check on the mall's website. For a cheaper meal, compare with the food courts of Bangkok; read menus before sitting down. Information checked in October 2026.

How to get there

BTS Sukhumvit line to Phrom Phong, with an exit connected directly to EmQuartier and Emporium; neighbouring EmSphere is also linked to the station. Address: Sukhumvit Road, Phrom Phong, Bangkok.

Opening hours
