Our page on Siam Park City recorded reseller prices around US$25 to 30 in October depending on the package. Opened in November 1980, it is the oldest amusement and water park in Southeast Asia. If Tiqets is unavailable for your date, compare with another reseller and read any rides flagged as closed.
Amusement park or water park?
Both parts are in one ticket according to the offers read. Plan the water park for the afternoon heat, with swimwear, a towel and a change of clothes. Paid lockers are available. The water park closes an hour earlier than the rest.
Getting there: no direct metro
The park is in Khan Na Yao, in the north-east of the city, far from the centre. There is no direct metro: one route travellers mention is the BTS to Mo Chit and then a taxi; otherwise take a taxi or Grab (about an hour at rush hour). The guide BTS or MRT helps with the metro part.
Weekend or weekday?
At weekends and during Thai school holidays the park is very busy: choose a weekday. The heat is strong: see Bangkok when it is too hot.
Comparing with Dream World
Dream World is farther out but has snow; Siam Park City is closer to the centre and mixes rides and pools. For all the parks, read Bangkok with children.
