Which stores to check
As of 3 November 2026 we found no Black Friday 2026 programme published on the official sites of the stores named here. Dates, discounts and exclusions are set by each store: check Siam Paragon, CentralWorld, ICONSIAM a few days before. To plan the rest: our shopping guide, Siam Paragon / ICONSIAM, the Siam shopping malls, ICONSIAM.
Opening hours on Friday 27 and Sunday 29 November
For Friday 27 November and Sunday 29 November 2026 we found no special opening hours published on the stores' official sites as of 3 November 2026. Check each store's site or app the day before, especially for Sunday.
The Siam shopping malls: getting there and opening hours
Bangkok has no outlet village: shopping is concentrated in the big malls of the Siam district (place guide: Siam) and in the markets. We found no official opening hours for 27 and 29 November 2026; Thai malls generally open every day, but check each one's site, as we could not confirm it at the time of reading, 3 November 2026.
Tax refund for non-EU visitors
Thailand: the Revenue Department (rd.go.th, read on 3 November 2026) refunds VAT to tourists provided you buy at least 2,000 baht including VAT per day per store in a shop displaying the "VAT Refund for Tourists" sign, ask for the P.P.10 form and the original tax invoices, and leave the country with the goods within 60 days. The refund is claimed at the international airport of departure (the scheme covers departures by air only); above 20,000 baht of purchases, Customs must see the goods before check-in. It is not granted to residents of Thailand or to stays longer than 180 days. The full procedure: our tax refund guide.
Thailand's 11.11 and 12.12 sales
Thai retailers build their big campaigns around double dates. In 2025, the business press (Nation Thailand, 7 November 2025) cited the "Central - Robinson 11.11 Sale" and The Mall Group's "11.11 Super Day Super Deal", running from 31 October to 12 November 2025. We found no official 2026 calendar for 11.11 or 12.12 at the time of reading, and no source ties those campaigns to Black Friday: if your stay covers those dates, check the retailers' own sites.
Avoiding the crowds
A few habits that work everywhere: - Shop early on Friday morning or on a weekday: Saturday afternoon is usually the busiest time. - Keep your passport with you: the tax refund and some discounts require ID. - Note an item's price a week earlier: a crossed-out price is not always a real cut. - Read the return policy and the exclusions, and leave room (and weight) in your suitcase.
Booking the trip or the tour
