Prices: what we know and what we don't
The official ticketing site does not list prices on its home page. A third-party site reports 1,000 THB for the Safari Park (adult) and 1,300 THB for the Marine Park at the gate, with lower online prices; our page on Safari World recorded other amounts at resellers in October. The gaps are large: compare the same content (Safari Park, Marine Park or combined) before choosing.
Safari Park and Marine Park
The Safari Park is covered by bus or car through animal enclosures; the Marine Park is a walking park with shows. A third-party site lists weekday shows: orangutans at 10:15, elephants at 11:00, dolphins at 1:45 pm and sea lions at 2:30 pm. Confirm at the gate, as the schedule changes at weekends. Allow 6 to 8 hours for both parks and arrive at opening.
Limits to know
The official site says nothing about Monday; several sources report a closure that day, so check before you go. Several animal-protection organisations criticise shows with wild animals: if that bothers you, choose the Safari Park or another outing, such as the aquarium, see Bangkok with children. It is hot, with little shade.
When to choose the transfer
A taxi or Grab from the centre takes 45 to 75 minutes. With tired children, an organised transfer saves you finding a ride back at the end of the day.
