Bike or golf cart?
The park is huge: you get around by bike, tram or cart. For carts, the Tiqets page mentions four-seater models for rent on site and a tram to rent at the entrance. The official rates seen: 350 THB for the first hour for four seats, 100 THB per extra hour, and 500 THB then 200 THB for six seats; other sources give other amounts. For the bike, sources contradict each other between "included" and "paid": ask at the counter. A cart driver must be 18 and hold a licence.

BTS Sukhumvit Line to the Kheha terminus (about 45 minutes from Siam), then the four-kilometre road to the entrance by songthaew no. 36 or taxi, according to our page. The three-headed elephant museum is on the same line: see the Erawan Museum ticket.
When to choose Ancient City
For a day of Thailand's history in miniature, calmer than the temples in the centre. For the real ruins, head to Ayutthaya. More ideas in day trips from Bangkok.
