Getting there from Bangkok and back at night
- The park is in Ratchaburi province, about 2 hours from Bangkok according to one guide; we found no practical public transport link in the evening.
- The simplest option is a car with driver, round trip, waiting until the lights end (22:00): expect to be back around half past midnight. The price depends on the operator.
- Book your entry ticket in advance and arrive in the late afternoon to watch the lights come on.
- For a night on site rather than a late return, look for accommodation in Ratchaburi.
What to combine in the day
Ratchaburi province also holds the Damnoen Saduak floating market: see Damnoen Saduak or Amphawa from Bangkok. For other ideas, see day trips from Bangkok and Bangkok at night.
