Laundry: self-service or by the kilo
Sukhumvit, Khao San and Silom streets have plenty. A coin machine is cheapest but takes an hour on site; wash-and-fold can be dropped in the morning and picked up in the evening. Hotels often charge per piece, which costs more: see hotel or aparthotel in Bangkok if you stay long and want a machine in the room. Compare apartments in Bangkok on Booking.com.
Printing a document
A stationery shop or mall counter prints in black and white or colour per page. For a boarding pass, the hotel front desk may do it free or for a few baht. Email yourself the PDF before you leave.
Shipping a parcel or purchases
Thailand Post sells boxes and offers ordinary parcel or EMS service. DHL and FedEx are faster. Declare the contents honestly. Buddha images and antiques need a permit from the Fine Arts Department. For shopping, see souvenirs in Bangkok and VAT refund in Bangkok.
